Everyone always says SCU has an unofficial uniform.

Outfit A - “the workout look” of black yoga pants, Northface jackets, and Nike Free’s.

Outfit B - “the typical look” of dark denim, trendy tops, strappy sandals, and Longchamp totes.

Then there’s always Outfit C – the “dress who you truly are” look. This choice is trickier, because it requires some actual thinking and creativity in the morning, and you could very well make a fashion mistake.

I have to admit, most SCU students choose Outfit A or B, but I sometimes see those few individuals who choose Outfit C, whatever that means to them. And their unique looks are always kind of refreshing to our campus. Perhaps you’ve seen these individuals strutting their stuff on the way to class. Perhaps you haven’t.

Well, I think it’s about time to celebrate these individuals for being just that – individuals. I’m not talking about a hall of fame, I’m talking about SCU students actually knowing how to put an outfit together and dress for their lives. Because I hope after you see these outfits, you’ll agree that SCU does have its own fashion sense.
